Making A Difference
What does the PTSA do at Einstein? The goal of the PTSA is to provide support for Einstein’s teachers, students, student's families, and assists with a variety of school activities. Please see the " Volunteer Opportunities" tab for many ways you can participate. We offer help in the library and the front office and we provide an extra pair of adult eyes during lunch. But that’s not all we do! We publish the Einstein student Directory, pass along valuable information from various agencies, and publish a monthly e-newsletter. We organize and host, through the efforts of the many Committee Chair Persons, the Book Fair, Ice Cream Social, Eighth Grade Graduation Party, student dances, Student Recognition celebrations, annual food drive, teen gift progam, and many more worthwhile programs.
Einstein PTSA Goals 2009-2010
ü Improve student achievement by supporting Brain Camp and staffing tutoring hours during lunch time and after school.
ü Improve communication in the Einstein community between parents, staff, students and the public by electronically publishing the Einstein News, maintaining and updating the Einstein PTSA website, collecting and maintaining contact lists for email blasts, mailings and offering Parent Brain Camp Sessions.
ü Support and enhance the school climate for students, staff and families by sponsoring activities that support and nurture a positive learning and social environment such as student achievement awards (scholastic and sports), dances, Teacher Appreciation, Golden Acorn and community service programs including but not limited to Embrace Shoreline and The Works.
