Student Affairs Committees

Health Screening: This event occurs in the fall and requires a chair or co-chairs to work with Einstein's school nurse. Coordinates volunteers to assist with vision and hearing screenings as scheduled by school nurse.

Student of the Trimester Awards: This event occurs at the end of each trimester in the morning before school starts and lasts about an hour. The chair(s) coordinate buying refreshments and recruiting volunteers to hand them out to award recipients and their family members attending the ceremony. The chair also submits a short article to the PTSA e-newsletter congratulating the students and thanking volunteers for their help.

Sports Awards: The chair(s) for this committee will coordinate volunteers to hand out ice cream bars at the end of school Sport Award celebrations held each trimester. This event is generally right after school. The chair also submits a short article to the PTSA e-newsletter congratulating the students and thanking volunteers for their help.

Dance/Social Committee: The chair(s) recruits and coordinates volunteer chaperones and ticket sellers for the dance. Buys snacks and beverages to sell during the dances for ASB fundraising. There are usually 3 dances per year, one per trimester and are held right after school from 3:00 - 4:30 PM. The chair also submits a short article to the PTSA e-newsletter.

Reflections Art Competition: The chair(s) will coordinate the PTA sponsored Art program. Advertising the event via e-newsletter, website and teachers, collect entries and submit for judging. Coordinate with the local PTA council and state PTA as needed. This event begins in the early fall and runs through December. The chair also submits a short article to the PTSA e-newsletter.

Eighth Grade Party: Coordinate volunteers and refreshments for Eigth Grade graduation party.
