Ways and Means Committees

Pass-the-Hat Fundraiser: Plans and executes Einstein PTSA's main fundraiser of the year, held at Einstein's Back To School Night. This is a once a year commitment and is usually concluded by the end of October.

Student Directory: A desk top publishing home project of the Einstein Student Directory. Requires commitment of time during the beginning of the school year, with a goal of completion before Thanksgiving break. Work with school staff to collect student information and parent permission slips. Design directory and enter all student information, coordinate printing directory and the distribution of it with Membership Chair. Send letters to Einstein families and the local business community selling advertising space.

Membership: Prepare membership forms/envelopes for the main Membership Drive at Pass-the-Hat. And at other public school events. Compile returned membership forms/envelopes for entry into Washington state PTA database. Totals money received and forwards totals and checks to PTSA Treasurer as memberships come in. Prepares membership cards and coordinates distribution with Student Directory Chair. This is another great at home project with the majority of work done during the beginning of the school year. A year long commitment is necessary to process memberships as they come in throughout the school year.
